In your role as a Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily assignments and procedures for unit staff. This includes the development of new hires and program development for the child/adolescent direct care teams. You will interact directly with youth and families, with the frequency of interaction varying based on the needs and availability of residents, as well as their acuity levels. Regular interaction with therapists, physicians, and other employees involved in the case will be essential, as well as frequent communication with community resources, providers, and referral sources such as DCS, court, probation, schools, and healthcare providers. This position is crucial in ensuring that our services are effectively coordinated and that the needs of our clients are met in a timely and compassionate manner.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily assignments and procedures for unit staff.
  • Develop new hires and oversee program development for child/adolescent direct care teams.
  • Interact directly with youth and families, adjusting frequency based on needs and availability.
  • Collaborate regularly with therapists, physicians, and other staff involved in client cases.
  • Coordinate services and referrals with community resources, including DCS, court, probation, schools, and healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; OR Associate's Degree with two years of experience in a child caring institution; OR High School diploma or equivalent with four years of experience in a child caring institution and two years of experience in a leadership capacity required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
