About The Position

The Residential Program Director at Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. (NCYF) is responsible for overseeing the operation and delivery of clinical, residential, and medical services within a latency-age Therapeutic Group Home. This role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of non-profit administration, and familiarity with child protective systems and state regulations. The director will ensure compliance with licensing requirements and foster a supportive environment for both staff and residents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).
• 3 years of experience as an administrator in a residential setting required.
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the principles of trauma-informed care.
• Adult & Child CPR/First Aid/AED certification preferred (training provided).
• Must possess a valid driving license and reliable transportation.
• Approved CORI, DCF, and driving background checks required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in non-profit administration.
• Knowledge of child protective systems.
• Familiarity with state regulations pertaining to restraints and holds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor all aspects of service delivery within the therapeutic group home.
• Provide weekly supervision to the Residential Supervisors and facilitate staff meetings.
• Monitor training and professional development of all staff in the therapeutic group home.
• Develop quality performance indicators in conjunction with residential leadership and clinical staff.
• Implement policies and procedures in collaboration with the VP of Residential Services.
• Ensure all licensing and regulatory requirements are met for the therapeutic group home.
• Approach dysregulated clients utilizing CPI techniques as needed.
• Provide on-call coverage to the therapeutic group home in rotation.
