About the position

The Residential Program Manager at Home of the Innocents is responsible for coordinating staff and client activities within a designated unit, focusing on developing and implementing programs that cater to the needs of clients. This role involves overseeing the placement and progress of youth, evaluating program effectiveness, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The position is integral to the organization's mission of supporting children and families through trauma-informed practices.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate staff and client activities within an assigned unit.
  • Develop and implement programs that meet clients' needs.
  • Oversee the placement and progress of each youth.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Maintain regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Bachelor's degree in a human services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling) preferred.
  • Two years of college education and two years of experience in a child-caring facility may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • High school diploma/equivalency with five years of experience in a child-caring facility may substitute for a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with recovery-based treatment plans and behaviorally oriented programs preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Must be available for on-call duties during emergencies.
