About the position

The Residential Program Manager at People Making Progress is responsible for overseeing support services for adults with developmental disabilities living in their own homes. This role involves recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising direct care personnel, as well as ensuring effective communication with participants and their families. The manager will also participate in program operations and planning, providing direct care to individuals in their homes and communities.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise direct care personnel.
• Communicate and attend meetings with participants and their families.
• Ensure all documentation is maintained.
• Participate in overall program operations and planning.
• Provide direct care to individuals in their homes and communities, including hygiene and ADLs.
• Take call on a rotating basis and fill in for absent employees.
• Rotate working holidays.

Requirements

• Experience working with people with IDD in residential settings.
• DSP supervisory experience.
• Clear criminal background and drug test.
• Valid driver's license and availability of a car.
