About the position

The Residential Program Manager at LifeConnections is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential program for adults with developmental disabilities. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with treatment plans, and maintaining quality care within the facility. The Program Manager plays a crucial role in staff training, budget management, and the overall functioning of the program, while also promoting opportunities for employee growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and supervises daily programmatic functions including staff supervision and upkeep of the residence.
• Ensures that complete and appropriate individual records are maintained in accordance with funding source regulations and policies.
• Oversees the development and implementation of skills development/IAPs, treatment plan goals, and ISP objectives.
• Participates in the training of all new employees.
• Manages program funds and supervises personal finances for all clients.
• Evaluates staff performance and provides ongoing supervision to all staff.
• Participates in the Emergency On-Call system as directed.
• Ensures adequate program coverage and supervision at all times.
• Keeps the Clinical Team updated on incidents and overall shift synopsis daily.
• Maintains Human Rights Training Certification and ensures all Human Rights activities are implemented accordingly.
• Attends appropriate meetings as directed and sustains flexible hours as dictated by program needs.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience working with Developmental Disabilities.
• Current MAP certification required.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Driver's License and must meet safe driver guidelines established by employer's insurance carrier.
• Completion and satisfactory results of a criminal background check and fingerprinting are required.
