About the position

The Residential Program Manager at Work Unlimited is responsible for overseeing the management of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role involves developing and implementing support programs, managing staff, and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. The position requires a compassionate leader who can inspire change and foster a supportive environment for both staff and residents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and behavior support plans.
• Coordinate services provided by day programs, consultants, and outside agencies.
• Maintain and monitor individual financial accounts and program budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards through regular checklists.
• Participate in hiring, supervising, and evaluating residential staff.
• Provide training in behavior support programs and medication administration.
• Oversee staff scheduling and ensure accurate submission of employee time records.
• Maintain comprehensive records including personal property and medical records.

Requirements

• Experience in a community-based residential program serving individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities.
• Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field preferred.
• Valid Oregon driver's license or acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to manage emergency situations and crisis behaviors.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous DD group home management experience.
• Prior supervisory experience.
