About the position

The Residential Program Manager at Maine Behavioral Healthcare is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential treatment programs for individuals facing mental health challenges. This role involves supervising staff, managing program activities, and ensuring compliance with agency standards while promoting a supportive environment for residents to achieve their treatment goals and work towards independent living.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care team members assisting residents in establishing and meeting treatment goals.
• Manage day-to-day activities of the residential treatment program, including hiring and orientation of new care team members.
• Ensure each resident's abilities and needs are adequately assessed and develop pertinent service plans based on assessments.
• Ensure departmental compliance with all agency licensing standards and regulations.
• Supervise the work of assigned employees to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of all required reporting and client-related documentation, including billing documents.
• Embrace a culture of engagement and model best practice management behaviors to create a respectful and motivating work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or extensive experience in the field.
• MHRT-II or higher certification preferred, or eligibility to receive MHRT-C Certification.
• Valid driver's license and appropriate level of automobile liability insurance.
• 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with the chronic mentally ill required.
