WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A RESIDENTIAL PROJECT MANAGER As a Project Manager at 1J Homes, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing residential construction projects from initiation to completion. This multifaceted role requires seamless coordination with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure high-quality project execution within budget and on schedule. You will develop and implement strategies that detail the steps needed to meet project deadlines while managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Building and leading a cohesive project team, you will assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to ensure clear communication and collaboration among all parties. Your expertise will be vital in managing project budgets, preparing progress billings, and ensuring compliance with building codes and quality standards. Conducting regular site inspections and serving as the primary point of contact for clients, you will provide updates, address concerns, and facilitate design approvals, ultimately ensuring the successful delivery of each project.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage residential construction projects from initiation to completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in managing residential or construction projects.
  • Strong partnership-building and collaboration skills.
  • Deep knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and tools like Bluebeam for construction takeoffs.

Nice-to-haves
