About the position
The Residential Property Inspector at Trident Real Estate, Inc. is a full-time role focused on maintaining high standards in residential property management. This position involves conducting regular inspections of properties, managing move-in and move-out inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The inspector will also coordinate with vendors for maintenance and improvement work, making it essential to have strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Regularly inspect properties to assess condition and document maintenance needs.
- Conduct move-in inspections to ensure units are in excellent condition and document findings with photos.
- Complete thorough move-out inspections with detailed photo documentation to support move-out calculations.
- Collaborate with vendors to organize and oversee turnover work for new tenants.
- Assist in planning and coordinating maintenance and improvement work in common areas.
- Prepare detailed quotes for necessary work within units and submit to property owners for approval.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required; Spanish is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for documenting and reporting inspection findings.
- Willingness to attend property management and related courses.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience coordinating with vendors and conducting detailed inspections.
- Knowledge of Propertyware, Rentvine, or Leadsimple software.
