About the position

The Residential Property Manager & Leasing Agent is responsible for managing and leasing residential properties, primarily in Campbell and surrounding areas. This part-time, contract position involves showing vacant units, preparing properties for move-in, and interacting with tenants and property owners. The role requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently while managing time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Show vacant or soon to be vacant apartments and residential properties.
• Evaluate and produce Work Orders to prepare properties for showing and move-in.
• Post compelling internet rental ads on Craigslist and in-house site to attract prospects.
• Follow up on vendor location jobs and monitor progress of third-party contractors to prepare vacant units for rent.
• Manage office duties including computer and internet tasks, and respond to emails and voicemails from vacancy prospects.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with Property Management Software (Yardi, Buildium, AppFolio, etc.) is required.
• 4 years of experience in Residential Leasing is required.
• 4 years of experience with Property Management Work Order Systems is required.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with various real estate contracts including lease agreements and addendums.
