About the position

The Residential Property Manager will oversee the operations of an apartment community in North St. Paul, ensuring that both prospects and residents feel welcomed and well-managed. This role requires a strong understanding of property management policies, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage financial tasks related to the community's operations.

Responsibilities

  • Help prospects and residents feel at home and well taken care of by management.
  • Understand and follow Fair Housing laws.
  • Complete tasks associated with community operations, including accounting, processing invoices, making bank deposits, and reconciling resident accounts.
  • Verify applications, process paperwork, and maintain accurate files.
  • Persistently collect rent and fees.
  • Assist with the development of the annual operating and capital budget.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to ensure the community meets established standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing a tax credit property.
  • Section 42 Tax Credit experience.
  • Employee supervision experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong sales and leasing skills.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Yardi software.
