About the position

The Residential Property Manager at Bartsch Management, LLC is responsible for managing a portfolio of over 300 multi-family units in Southeastern Wisconsin. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the properties, ensuring effective leasing efforts, maintaining positive relationships with property owners, and ensuring the properties are well-maintained and occupied with qualified residents. The manager will also handle tenant relations, marketing, financial reporting, and facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive communication with property owners regarding vacancies, residents, property conditions, and financial issues.
• Oversee marketing efforts to ensure properties are occupied with qualified residents through advertising and property showings.
• Work with the accounting team to maintain financial records and create monthly financial reports for property owners.
• Develop rental agreements, select qualified residents, collect deposits and rents, and enforce rental agreement terms.
• Resolve resident complaints and oversee eviction proceedings when necessary.
• Assist in scheduling maintenance and repairs, negotiate contracts with vendors, and perform property inspections.

Requirements

• Five years of property management experience required.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong familiarity with fair housing laws and anti-discrimination legislation.
• Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, codes, and regulations.

Nice-to-haves

• Two years of college preferred.
• CPM or ARM designation preferred.

Benefits

• Full-time position with a salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
