About the position

The Residential Roofing and Exterior Remodeling Sales Leader/Manager at Great Lakes Roofing Inc. is responsible for driving sales of roofing, siding, and exterior renovation services to residential and commercial clients. This role involves generating leads, building client relationships, and closing sales contracts, while ensuring customer satisfaction and seamless project execution. Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities by generating leads and conducting outreach to potential clients in residential and commercial sectors.
  • Meet with homeowners and business owners to understand their roofing and exterior renovation needs, providing expert advice on solutions that fit their budget and goals.
  • Develop and present customized proposals and estimates, clearly outlining project scope, materials, and timelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering excellent customer service, providing updates throughout the project lifecycle, and following up on inquiries.
  • Work to close sales contracts, ensuring that all paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the project management and installation teams to ensure client satisfaction and seamless project execution.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new product developments to continually improve sales strategies and offerings.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals, contributing to the overall growth of Great Lakes Roofing Inc.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in roofing, construction, or home improvement industries.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close sales effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining client relationships long-term.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with roofing systems, exterior renovation services, and related products is preferred but not required.
