About the position

The Residential Sales Representative at Pioneer Connect is responsible for expanding the company's residential customer base by engaging with potential customers through inbound calls and door-to-door sales. This role combines sales and customer service to promote high-speed internet and phone services while ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, and have a genuine interest in telecommunications technology.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door sales to acquire new customers for internet and telecommunication services.
  • Initiate outbound calls to potential new and existing customers.
  • Meet or exceed established residential sales goals.
  • Travel within the service area to engage potential customers.
  • Establish new relationships and enhance existing relationships with customers.
  • Keep customers informed of upgrade offerings and marketing promotions.
  • Introduce new technologies and applications to support customer needs.
  • Assist customers with technical support regarding their product and service questions.
  • Provide training on product features to customers.
  • Resolve complex product or service problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Initiate and close service orders to provide timely services to customers.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service and sales.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Proficiency in internet and telecom services.
  • Ability to gather data, develop proposals, and close sales.
  • Computer skills using MS Office 365.
  • Excellent listening, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience or knowledge of the telecom industry.
  • Previous outside sales experience.
  • Knowledge of broadband products and services.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
