The Sales Territory Manager for Engineered Floors in Central New Jersey plays a crucial role in the residential division by focusing on selling flooring products and fostering strong customer relationships that lead to profitable and sustained sales. In this role, the manager will develop a deep knowledge and enthusiasm for the product lines offered by Engineered Floors. They will be responsible for communicating any potential problems or concerns to the District or Regional Manager, ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly. The ability to overcome adversity and temporary disadvantages is essential, as the manager will need to demonstrate perseverance and tenacity in pursuing sales opportunities. The Sales Territory Manager will also be expected to exhibit excellence in presentation and sales skills, maintaining organized and efficient account management. Each account should have a tailored plan to maximize sales potential. Proficiency in using samples and other sales tools is necessary, along with technical skills to manage sales and accounts in a paperless environment. Timely and accurate submission of reports and inquiry responses is a critical aspect of the role, as is maintaining a professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance at all times.

Requirements

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships
  • Outside sales experience required; experience in industry sales preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
  • Proficiency with applicable technology
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
