About the position

The Residential Security Agent at Keelson Strategic is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of designated principals and their properties in a dynamic environment. This role involves monitoring activities, controlling access, and coordinating with site staff while maintaining operational readiness. The agent must be proactive, adaptable, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals and their properties.
• Maintain knowledge of baseline principal, property, and neighborhood activities.
• Monitor property and area activities via closed-circuit television and physical perimeter checks.
• Monitor traditional and social media for potential threats.
• Control access to properties and maintain security logs for guests, service personnel, and vendors.
• Drive or tail principal/s, family members, and guests.
• Conduct advance work as needed.
• Screen and track mail and deliveries.
• Monitor weather, traffic, public safety incidents, and local events.
• Coordinate with site staff to accomplish common tasks.
• Complete daily household tasks and maintenance as requested by principals.
• Ensure 24/7 operational readiness through stocking supplies and equipment upkeep.
• Operate within parameters established by standard operating procedures and applicable laws.
• Coordinate with and support the executive protection element of the team.
• Demonstrate proficiency in use and proper maintenance of all equipment.

Requirements

• 2-4+ years of combined experience in relevant security, military, and/or law enforcement positions.
• Physically fit to facilitate emergency responses.
• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification for adults, children, and infants.
• California BSIS Guard Card.
• Current passport and all certifications must be kept active.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree.
• Bilingual (Spanish, American Sign Language, etc.).
• Prior residential and/or fixed site security experience.
• Proficient in the use of social media collection tools for protective intelligence.
• Training in defensive tactics, counter surveillance, covert protection, and basic medical support experience.
• Prior attendance of a recognized EP school.
• Advanced emergency medical certification - Active First Responder, EMT, or paramedic.
• Customer service experience.
• Experience working with children.
• Regularly active in outdoor activities such as mountain biking, hiking, ocean sports, etc.
• Valid California or H.R.218 carry concealed weapons permit.
