About the position

The Residential Shift Supervisor at Merakey is responsible for managing the daily operations of a community residential rehabilitation (CRR) facility for adults with mental illness. This role involves coordinating activities for residents, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a supportive environment for consumers.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the community residential rehab (CRR) for adults with mental illness.
• Coordinate activities and chores for residents.
• Supervise staff, including performance evaluations and scheduling.
• Assist with on-call responsibilities in rotation.
• Maintain compliance with CRR's and Merakey regulations.
• Schedule and orient direct care staff.
• Approve overtime as needed.
• Submit paperwork on a timely basis.
• Schedule consumer appointments and assist in maintaining their health.
• Coordinate consumer activities, including socialization and recreation.
• Oversee daily operations and task management of the residential program.
• Notify the residential supervisor of repairs and purchases needed.
• Conduct weekly site inspections and monthly fire drills.
• Implement and monitor individual consumer service plans.
• Teach staff medication administration and assist consumers as necessary.
• Receive medication and transcribe orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Active driver's license.
• 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
