The Residential Solar Consultant position is a full-time role based in Brooklyn, NY, where the consultant will be the primary point of contact for customers interested in solar energy solutions. The role involves conducting sales presentations in customers' homes, educating them about the benefits of solar energy, and analyzing their electricity usage to tailor solutions that meet their needs. The consultant will manage customer accounts from the initial consultation through to installation, ensuring a positive and high-quality customer experience throughout the process. Mpower offers a dynamic work environment with daily in-office collaboration, inter-office competitions, and monthly events to foster team spirit. The company provides daily direct marketing leads to its consultants, allowing them to focus on closing sales and maximizing their earning potential. Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales presentations with prospective customers in their home
  • Educate potential clients about the benefits of solar energy and savings
  • Analyze electricity usage to confirm customer wants and needs while developing rapport to close the sale
  • Manage accounts from initial consultation to installation
  • Ensure a positive and high-quality customer experience
  • Participate in ongoing training camps focused on increasing earning potential, team building, and mentoring from leaders

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in a canvassing or customer service position preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive, solution-oriented attitude
  • Outgoing personality
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record; own vehicle
