About the position

The Residential Solar Consultant - Financing Specialist at Solara Home Energy is responsible for providing exceptional service and support to the company's network of Third-Party Dealers and Sales Representatives. This role involves conducting pre-surveys, managing projects through a CRM, and ensuring the accuracy of contracts and financing documentation. The position requires a strong focus on customer experience and operational excellence, with an emphasis on attention to detail and effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate pre-surveys to assist customers in selecting available options.
  • Create Scope of Work and manage projects using a CRM.
  • Maintain project viability through regular account reviews.
  • Examine contracts and finance information for accuracy.
  • Verify property ownership and manage missing paperwork.
  • Document additional project costs within the Solara CRM.
  • Track performance against daily, weekly, and monthly KPI goals.
  • Familiarize with financing products, equipment, pricing, and utility/state requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • 1+ year of operations experience preferred.
  • 1+ year operating within a CRM or project management software preferred.
  • 1+ year of accounting or contract/document review experience preferred.
  • Basic clerical and typing skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in solar sales or solar financing.
  • Ability to work in a high-stress environment.
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
