About the position

The Residential Solar Consultant position at Solara Home Energy focuses on providing exceptional customer experience and support to the company's network of Third-Party Dealers and Sales Representatives. The role involves conducting pre-surveys, managing projects through a CRM, and ensuring accurate documentation related to contracts and financing. The consultant will also host consultations to guide customers in selecting solar options, thereby contributing to the growth of the business while maintaining a strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct accurate pre-surveys to assist customers in selecting available solar options.
  • Create Scope of Work and manage projects using a CRM system.
  • Maintain project viability through regular account reviews.
  • Examine contracts and finance information for accuracy.
  • Verify property ownership and manage missing paperwork to ensure all required documents are received and uploaded.
  • Document additional project costs accurately within the Solara CRM.
  • Track performance against daily, weekly, and monthly KPI goals.
  • Familiarize with financing products, equipment, pricing, utility, and state requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • 1+ year of operations experience preferred.
  • 1+ year of experience operating within a CRM or project management software preferred.
  • 1+ year of accounting or contract/document review experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of solar energy and related documentation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in solar sales or solar financing for at least 1 year.
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
