As a Residential Solar Consultant, you'll play a pivotal role in our growth and success. You will be provided with a calendar full of appointments, but we also expect you to be highly motivated to self-generate leads and build strong customer relationships. Your role will involve guiding homeowners through the process of adopting solar energy solutions and helping them make informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home consultations to assess customers' needs and present solar solutions.
  • Utilize company-provided appointments and generate your own leads to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Educate homeowners about the benefits of solar energy and our products.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction and referrals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.

Requirements

  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed.
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in residential or solar sales.
  • Ability to self-generate leads and build a strong customer base.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Nice-to-haves

  • Customer service experience (1 year preferred)
  • Ability to commute to Baton Rouge, LA (preferred)
  • Willingness to relocate to Baton Rouge, LA before starting work (preferred)
