About the position

The Solar Consultant role involves promoting and selling solar energy solutions to residential and commercial customers. The consultant will educate clients on the benefits of solar energy and assist them in transitioning to solar power, ensuring a smooth sales process and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door sales presentations to potential customers
• Educate customers on the financial and environmental benefits of solar energy
• Customize solar energy solutions based on customer needs and budget
• Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to track leads and sales progress
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar sales or related technical sales
• Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals
• Fluency in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships
• Comfortable working in an outside sales environment
• Multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging diverse customer bases
