About the position

As a Residential Solar Quality Assurance & Operations Specialist at IGS Energy, you will play a crucial role in the fast-paced environment of our emerging Residential Solar business. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about renewable energy and are eager to contribute to the growth and efficiency of our solar operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the quality and validity of solar systems throughout the installation process. This includes reviewing solar projects submitted for milestone review, processing a high volume of projects from external partners, and ensuring compliance with IGS' program requirements. You will be tasked with reviewing shading reports, project photos, and other documentation to maintain high project quality standards. In addition to quality assurance, you will become an expert user of IGS' Solar 360 platform. This expertise will enable you to guide external business partners through the milestone review process effectively. You will craft clear and concise instructional emails to provide partners with detailed guidance on navigating the platform, addressing milestone rejections, and understanding product information. Furthermore, you will develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions to educate partners on common reasons for milestone rejections, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet our standards. Your role will also involve identifying issues that arise during the review process and creating software tickets for IT support, providing essential information to facilitate timely resolutions. This position is integral to IGS' goal of scaling our Residential Solar business quickly and efficiently, and your contributions will directly impact our success in this area.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate solar systems submitted for milestone review.
• Review and process a high volume of solar projects from outside parties to ensure compliance with IGS' program requirements.
• Review shading reports, project photos, and other project specific documentation to ensure project quality.
• Become an expert user of IGS' Solar 360 platform, capable of guiding external business partners through IGS' milestone review process.
• Craft clear and concise instructional emails to provide external partners with detailed instructions on how to navigate IGS platform features, milestone rejections, and product information.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions to educate partners on common reasons for milestone rejections.
• Identify issues and create software tickets for IT support providing essential information and context to facilitate timely resolutions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of work experience.
• Demonstrates a drive for results, efficiency, and embraces the value of Continuous Improvement.
• Basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Ability to learn new technology platforms (partner portals, reporting portals, etc.).
• Ability to adapt, evolve and thrive in an ever-changing environment.
• Exceptional organizational skills and document management skills with an attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, strong analytical skills, results oriented, driven.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex resolutions.
