About the position
The Residential Specialist at Intercept Health plays a crucial role in providing support and guidance to children and adolescents in a therapeutic group home setting. Responsibilities
- Serve as a positive role model for children and adolescents in a therapeutic placement.
- Contribute to the formulation and implementation of resident treatment plans.
- Develop socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors within residents through role modeling.
- Ensure a structured therapeutic environment for residents with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D with at least six months of experience working with children, OR an Associate's Degree with at least three months of experience working with children, OR a Bachelor's Degree in a Virginia Department of Health Profession's approved Human Service degree.
Nice-to-haves
