About the position

The Residential Supervisor at Sevita is responsible for overseeing the daily activities and appointments of individuals receiving support in a residential setting. This role involves coordinating and supervising direct care staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering positive relationships with families and case managers. The supervisor plays a key role in the onboarding and training of staff, as well as in performance evaluations and maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for individuals served.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities and appointments for individuals receiving support.
• Coordinate, supervise, and maintain the daily activities and schedules for Direct Care Staff.
• Ensure onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training is delivered to staff.
• Provide input and feedback in hiring, corrective action, performance evaluations, and termination decisions.
• Foster positive relations with case managers and referral agents, advocating for individuals receiving care.
• Maintain relationships with families and guardians, implementing individual satisfaction enhancement plans.
• Monitor the comfort and safety of individuals served, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services.
• One to two years' experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Valid driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
• Licensure as required by state.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships.
• A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach.
