About the position

The Residential Support Manager (OPWDD) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of residential support services for individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves managing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing high-quality support to residents. The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a commitment to fostering a positive living environment for residents.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of residential support services.
  • Manage and supervise staff to ensure quality care.
  • Ensure compliance with OPWDD regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans for residents.
  • Coordinate training and development for staff members.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years applicable prior experience with a High School Diploma, or 1 year with an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
  • Valid NYS Driver License required.
  • Strong computer skills and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in human services or related field.
  • Knowledge of OPWDD regulations and best practices.
