About the position
The Residential Support Overnight position at St. Luke's University Health Network involves providing on-site coverage for residents in the Penn Villa or Village of Hope Programs during overnight hours. The role primarily consists of ensuring resident safety, responding to urgent needs, and maintaining a supportive environment while adhering to the organization's values and policies.
Responsibilities
- Respond to urgent resident needs and emergencies.
- Provide crisis intervention when required.
- Provide a supportive environment for residents.
- Ensure that any safety concerns are corrected or reported to the Program Manager.
- Document resident activity, progress, and staff interventions, and communicate concerns to supervisory staff.
- Maintain confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/Entity.
- Comply with Network and departmental policies regarding employee, patient, and environmental safety.
- Demonstrate the Network's PCRAFT values during interactions with all customers.
- Demonstrate Performance Improvement in clinical care, customer service, operational systems, and safety.
- Demonstrate financial responsibility and accountability in daily procedures.
- Comply with attendance and dress code policies.
- Demonstrate competency in assessment and communication appropriate to the age of the patient.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- Basic communication skills
