About the position

The Residential Support Specialist at OneEighty plays a crucial role in assisting individuals in their treatment programs and overseeing the daily operations of residential facilities. This part-time position is designed for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to helping others rebuild their lives, particularly those dealing with addiction and mental health challenges. The role involves direct interaction with clients, facilitating communication, and maintaining a supportive environment while adhering to professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the treatment program and oversee the general functioning of the residential house.
• Facilitate and maintain productive communication with clients and coworkers.
• Maintain appropriate boundaries with clients as per OneEighty Policies and Procedures.
• Administer Narcan and provide first aid as needed.
• Participate in local travel as required for the position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree in Social Services preferred.
• CDCA licensure or ability to attain within the first 90 days of hire.
• Experience working with alcoholics and/or drug abusers preferred.
• Familiarity with the 12 STEP philosophy.
• Two years of continuous sobriety if in recovery.
• Trained in administering Narcan.
• Certified in CPR and First Aid or able to attain certification.
• Valid Ohio Driver License with an insurable driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel.

Nice-to-haves
