About the position
The Residential Technician at DH Pace Company is responsible for the installation and repair of residential garage doors and related hardware. This role requires mechanical aptitude and experience in construction or welding, with a focus on customer service and safety. The technician will work primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts, and will be expected to manage job-related paperwork efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install and/or repair a wide range of residential garage doors and operating systems.
- Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services.
- Track and maintain job-related paperwork and submit it in a timely manner.
- Operate in a safety-conscious manner at all times while performing job duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of mechanical and electrical experience required.
- Able to safely lift 75 pounds over your head.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Experience in welding preferred but not required.
Nice-to-haves
