About The Position
Youth Development Institute (YDI) is a private, non-profit agency located in Phoenix, Arizona, dedicated to serving at-risk youth. We are seeking an experienced Master's Level therapist for a clinical position in our residential treatment center, which caters to severely emotionally disturbed and behaviorally disordered adolescents aged 10-17. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of counseling experience specifically with adolescents who have engaged in substance use and abuse. This role requires a compassionate and skilled professional who can provide therapeutic support and guidance to our residents, helping them navigate their challenges and work towards recovery and stability. As a Residential Treatment Therapist, you will be responsible for conducting individual and group therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our clients. You will also be expected to maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions. The position is full-time and requires the ability to obtain a fingerprint clearance card through the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS). We offer a competitive salary that ranges from $70,000 to $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with excellent benefits.
