About the position
The Resilience IT Project Coordinator at Booz Allen Hamilton plays a crucial role in supporting clients in managing their IT strategy and program management functions, particularly in the context of resilience against natural disasters. This position involves translating complex program goals into actionable IT requirements, managing agile teams, and ensuring effective stakeholder engagement to facilitate mission success. The coordinator will be instrumental in modernizing systems and ensuring that IT milestones are met in a timely and secure manner.
Responsibilities
- Support clients in implementing their IT Strategy and maintaining data governance initiatives.
- Translate complex program requirements into IT requirements and project plans.
- Manage agile teams and address agency program and security requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions to ensure successful IT project outcomes.
- Monitor and report on agile software development activities and risk management.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with IT projects supporting project coordination or task management.
- Experience with monitoring and reporting on agile software development activities, IT requirements management, program communications, and risk management.
- Experience in working with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Agile software development methods, including SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Proficiency in software tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Suite, MS Teams, SharePoint, or Visio.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
