About the position

Dewberry is seeking a Climate Adaptation and Resilience Project Manager to join their team in Denver, Colorado. This role involves managing projects related to resilient infrastructure planning and design, hydrologic modeling, and risk assessments. The Project Manager will play a key role in client relationship management, project execution, and technical leadership, contributing to the growth of Dewberry's resilience and water resources services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a project manager on various projects related to resilient infrastructure planning and design.
• Manage, lead, execute, and provide technical support for resilience, water resources, and hazard mitigation projects.
• Lead the development or implementation of climate adaptation and resilience plans and strategies.
• Communicate with clients to establish project goals and objectives, scheduling, and coordinating resources.
• Lead teams in preparing winning proposals and successful presentations, developing scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
• Win new resilience, water resources, and hazard mitigation projects and add new clients.

Requirements

• BS degree in civil engineering, climate science, or related field, with emphasis in resilience; MS degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in resilient infrastructure planning and design, water resources engineering, benefit-cost analysis, and GIS.
• Experience in nature-based mitigation design in urban, rural, and coastal landscapes.
• Proven record of managing an inter-disciplinary team and delivering projects successfully.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with federal market projects.
