About the position

Control Risks is inviting speculative applications for embedded consulting roles in resilience across the US. This position allows consultants to integrate into client organizations, providing expertise in business continuity, crisis management, and resilience program development. The role is aimed at building a talent pool for future opportunities, emphasizing the importance of ethics, security intelligence, and management support.

Responsibilities

  • Provide business continuity resources for clients, including developing BC frameworks, exercises, trainings, and improvements to business continuity programs.
  • Develop crisis response plans for companies and implement crisis management exercises and trainings.
  • Work across client resilience programs to enhance response capabilities.

Requirements

  • A minimum bachelor's degree.
  • Relevant business continuity experience.
  • Industry certifications such as ABCP, CBCP, MBCP, ISO22301.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to anticipate trends impacting the organization.
  • Understanding of BCM governance frameworks and strong knowledge of business continuity best practices and operational risk management.
  • Strong understanding of operational risk and resilience, business process improvement methods, and risk-related control frameworks (COSO and ISO).
  • Ability to work well under pressure during emergency responses.
  • Responsive to changing environments and adaptable to unpredictable circumstances.
  • Strong client focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
