About the position

Pet Paradise is seeking passionate individuals to join their team as Resort Associates, responsible for providing care and supervision for pets in a safe and engaging environment. This full-time position offers opportunities for career advancement and various training programs to enhance skills in pet care and management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and interact with pets inside the resort and in play yards.
• Follow feeding instructions regarding times, amounts, and types of food.
• Maintain cleanliness of suites and dog runs by disinfecting and washing floors, scrubbing walls, and removing waste.
• Empty trash, mop floors, and clean restrooms and common areas.
• Monitor and record important information about pets, reporting any unusual behaviors or injuries to management and veterinary services.
• Use proper dog handling techniques as instructed by management.
• Ensure pet safety by adhering to training policies.

Requirements

• Physical ability to handle pets, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
• True passion for working with animals.
• Cheerful, friendly, and positive team-oriented attitude.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to receive instructions and adapt to changes in training material.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in pet care or related fields.
• Certification in pet first aid or CPR.
