About the position

The Resort Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth at the River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, OK. This role involves soliciting new accounts, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals. The manager will oversee the sales team, coordinate marketing efforts, and engage with community leaders to promote the resort's offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration, application and daily management of the Hotel Sales Division, including hiring/training sales team, evaluating performance and coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Create and implement sales strategies, scripts and phone outreach or marketing collateral initiatives to gain new customers and hotel guests.
  • Meet with business and other community leaders to showcase the hotel and its amenities, garnering group sales, business meeting participation, and special event reservations.
  • Achieve monthly personal room and revenue sales goals; research and update room or group pricing, as needed.
  • Solicit sales through local sales calls, as well as out of town, and/or marketing to outlying areas.
  • Attend local, state, and regional trade shows; industry events; community or chamber of commerce leadership meetings; represent the property in the form of membership in industry or community organizations.
  • Solicit assigned markets on behalf of the property and strategize with other managers to increase occupancy.
  • Maintain database, existing and prospective clients, sales records, marketing collateral, and call center analytics to increase room sales & event ticket sales.
  • Work with other Departments to attract players, travelers, entertainment customers, and meeting attendees.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 4 year college degree preferred in Hospitality, Marketing or Business; and/or combination of education & experience.
  • 4 years' experience in Hotel Sales, Hospitality Administration, and/or Marketing experience preferred; experience with hotel or casino marketing software, MS Office applications, Excel, or Access databases.
  • MCN OPG Gaming License is required.
