About the position

The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) PRN at PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sugar Land is responsible for providing respiratory care to a diverse patient population, particularly those who are chronically and critically ill. This role involves performing routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures, as well as maintaining equipment and conducting basic laboratory testing. The position is PRN, allowing for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintain all respiratory care equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested.

Requirements

• Must be certified or licensed in the state to practice respiratory care.
• Must possess and maintain current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves
