About the position

The Respiratory Care Sales Specialist is responsible for driving ICU Medical's Respiratory Care business within the assigned territory, focusing on building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers. This role aims to stabilize current business while developing future opportunities, increasing profitability, and expanding existing accounts. The specialist will also provide ongoing post-sales support to ensure a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Meet territory sales revenue objectives for ICU Medical's Respiratory Care product line.
  • Master presentation skills and command technical knowledge of ICU Medical products to communicate clinical benefits to clinicians.
  • Understand the strengths and weaknesses of competing products and position ICU Medical's offerings accordingly.
  • Conduct product trials and implementation of all ICU products in the Respiratory Care product portfolio.
  • Know the assigned territory, customer base, contracts, and competitive products.
  • Communicate with managers and align sales efforts with company and regional targets.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • Occasionally work during weekends/nights when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success, preferably in medical device sales.
  • Experience in Respiratory therapy products and services is preferred.
  • Proven track record of making quota/growth in territory and developing existing customer relationships.
  • Prior Respiratory and/or Medical device sales experience is required.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute a business plan to increase market share.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth and deliver results through process-oriented data-driven methods.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Tracheostomy products is a plus.
  • Established relationships in key regional health systems.
