About The Position
The Respiratory Therapist II at Dominican Hospital is responsible for providing routine respiratory care services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. This role includes administering inhaled medications, oxygen therapy, and noninvasive ventilation, as well as performing arterial blood gas analysis and limited pulmonary mechanics assessments. The therapist may also assist physicians with complex procedures such as endotracheal intubation and therapeutic bronchoscopy. This position is designed for individuals who may not yet have demonstrated full competency in all areas of clinical care, with the potential for reclassification to Respiratory Therapist III upon meeting competency requirements.
