About the position

The Respiratory Therapist at The Staff Pad is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. This role includes assessment, treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation, along with consulting with physicians and providing guidance to medical and nursing staff. The position requires working night shifts and involves various responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment, treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation of patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
• Consult with physicians regarding patient care.
• Provide consultation, instruction, and technical direction to medical, nursing, and other staff members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Emotional maturity and ability to function effectively under stress.
• Georgia License as a Respiratory Care Professional required.
• NBRC Certified or Registered therapist preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS and NRP preferred.
