We offer a variety of positions including full-time, part-time, and PRN roles, with a sign-on bonus available for certain positions. Our Allied Health positions require specific educational backgrounds and certifications, which vary by role. For instance, Imaging positions require an Associate's degree from an ARRT accredited institute, while Respiratory Therapy roles necessitate a current state license and various certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Surgical Tech candidates must have graduated from an accredited program and hold a CST certification. Pharmacy Techs need to be certified and registered with the State Board of Pharmacy, while Lab Assistants and Medical Laboratory Technicians must meet specific educational and certification requirements as well. Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care in accordance with Mercy Health's standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation as required.
  • Adhere to safety and health regulations in all patient interactions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance professional skills.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred for Imaging positions).
  • Certification and Registration with ARRT (required for Imaging positions).
  • State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state).
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification (required).
  • Current Respiratory Care License in the state of practice (required for Respiratory Therapy).
  • National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed (required for Respiratory Therapy).
  • Graduate of an AMA approved school for Respiratory Care (required).
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred for Respiratory Therapy).
  • Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist program (required for Surgical Tech).
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (required for Surgical Tech).
  • ExCPT Certification or PTCB certification for Pharmacy Tech (required).
  • Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy (required for Pharmacist).
  • High School Diploma or GED (required for Lab Assistant).
  • MLT Medical Laboratory Technician Certification (required for MLT).
  • Bachelors in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Laboratory Science/Biomedical Science/Biology/Biochemistry (required for MLS).

Nice-to-haves

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (preferred).
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (preferred).
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (preferred).
  • Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) certification (preferred).
  • Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist (RPFT) certification (preferred).
  • Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification (preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferred for various positions).
  • Laboratory experience (preferred for Lab Assistant).
