Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory care to patients in all areas of the clinic.
• Evaluate and administer routine modes of respiratory care based on patient assessments.
• Educate patients on pulmonary topics including respiratory medications and devices.
• Perform respiratory care procedures according to physician orders and patient care plans.
• Enter orders for and perform chest x-rays as needed.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests, six-minute walk tests, and spirometry.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Graduate of a Technical School
• Up to 1 Year of Experience
• Kansas Respiratory Therapist License
• BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
