About the position

The Responsible AI Data Scientist at Amazon Web Services (AWS) will play a crucial role in guiding customers on the responsible and secure adoption of Generative AI technologies. This position focuses on operationalizing Generative AI workloads while ensuring adherence to ethical AI practices, including bias mitigation and security assessments. The role involves developing technical assets to support Responsible AI policies and collaborating with various stakeholders to influence product direction and drive innovation in the Generative AI space.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers on Responsible AI and Generative AI Security, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Support customers in operationalizing generative AI projects from proof-of-concept to production.
• Develop technical assets and content to educate customers on the risks of generative AI.
• Collaborate with GenAI Product/Engineering and Customer-Facing Builder Teams to launch new services.
• Serve as a thought leader in the Generative AI space, representing AWS at industry events and conferences.

Requirements

• 2+ years of data scientist experience.
• 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL) and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
• 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling and data analysis tools.
• Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment.
• Deep understanding of Generative AI models and Responsible AI practices.
