About the position

The Responsible Sourcing Analyst will support the Responsible Sourcing Team at ITW, focusing on ensuring accuracy in data collection for both voluntary and regulatory reporting, including U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filings. This role involves providing administrative support under the direction of the Program Manager, Global Responsible Sourcing, and requires collaboration across various ITW divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze complex organizational structure in database and assure accuracy to meet auditing standards.
  • Develop and maintain a list of impacted business units, products, and processes.
  • Assist in refining supplier engagement approach, including development of communications with suppliers and ongoing product and supplier assessment tools and processes.
  • Support external requests for information.
  • Maintain timeline under Program Manager's direction.
  • Proactively carry out program support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain associated project work and action plans with clear deliverables and timelines.
  • Collaborate with others at varying organizational levels, both inside and outside the company, to support customer service and team building efforts.
  • Build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Report out and present on project status as needed, moving from data and information to insight and value.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college is required.
  • At least 1+ years of work experience, preferably in data analytics or a sourcing/procurement capacity.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, with knowledge of intermediate functions and formulas (PivotTable, VLOOKUP, IFERROR, etc.).
  • Some Access and Power BI experience preferred.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, detail orientation required.
  • Proactive and influential leader with problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or Sustainability preferred.
  • Presentation skills preferred.
  • Experience as a user of Microsoft SharePoint 2007 or 2010 preferred.
