About the position
The Restaurant Attendant at Oak Grove Racing, Gaming, & Hotel is responsible for ensuring a clean and welcoming dining environment for guests. This full-time position involves setting tables, clearing and resetting them for new guests, and maintaining cleanliness in side stations. The role requires effective customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, accommodating flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Ensures tables are set in accordance with company standards.
- Clears all tables, resetting them for new seating.
- Maintains cleanliness of all side stations, responsible for stocking dishes, silverware, paper supplies and any other required items.
- Sweeps or mops as necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Customer service or food & beverage experience is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.
