Restaurant Crewmember

About the position

The Restaurant Crewmember at Raising Cane's plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service while working in a fun and dynamic environment. This entry-level position requires no prior restaurant experience, as comprehensive training is provided. Crewmembers will engage in various tasks, including taking orders, preparing food, and maintaining cleanliness, all while contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Provide quick and friendly service to customers
• Take orders and process payments efficiently
• Clean tables, floors, and other areas of the restaurant
• Follow proper safety procedures when handling and preparing food
• Assist other crewmembers in completing tasks to ensure continuity of service
• Show up to scheduled shifts on time
• Lift and carry, push or pull heavy objects up to 50 pounds
• Kneel, bend, twist, or stoop as needed
• Reach and grasp objects, including above head and below waistline
• Multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace
• Responsible and dependable
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to take initiative and comply with company policies

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in customer service or restaurant roles
• Ability to work flexible hours including opening and closing shifts
