In this role, you will work in a fast-paced environment as a food expeditor, helping to maintain a smooth workflow between the kitchen and the servers. You will be responsible for ensuring that orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly, enhancing the quality and reputation of our dining services. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate and organize processes and people effectively. You will assist in the final preparation of dishes, check for accuracy and presentation, and deliver orders to maintain fast service. Additionally, you will inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning as needed. Your role is crucial in transferring important information between the kitchen and the wait staff, ensuring that customer requests are met efficiently. Responsibilities
- Ensure the efficient flow of orders from the servers to the kitchen.
- Ensure orders are being prepared correctly.
- Assist in the final preparation of dishes.
- Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation, and temperature.
- Deliver orders to maintain fast service.
- Inspect the premises according to quality and sanitation standards and assist in cleaning.
- Transfer important information between the kitchen and the wait staff (e.g., when a customer has a particular request).
- Support other tasks as needed (e.g., telephone orders).
Requirements
- Previous Restaurant Server experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate and organize processes and people.
