About the position

The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) at Ampler dba Taco Bell is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a high-volume restaurant, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing financial controls, and developing team members. This advanced-level position requires strong leadership skills to drive performance and maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. The RGM will work closely with the management team to achieve sales and profitability goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring consistent customer satisfaction by resolving issues and driving CHAMPS scores.
  • Developing team members through orientation, training, and career discussions.
  • Demonstrating leadership and maintaining high standards within the restaurant.
  • Making informed decisions to address complex restaurant issues and empower the management team.
  • Communicating effectively with customers, team members, and area coaches.
  • Recognizing and rewarding team performance through incentives and recognition programs.
  • Managing time effectively to complete brand processes and routines during shifts.
  • Acting as an owner by controlling profit and loss and overseeing restaurant budget.

Requirements

  • Previous management or 2+ years of customer service/fast food experience.
  • High School Diploma, GED, College, or University diploma.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience in food service or retail, including P&L responsibility.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills, with strong analytical/decision-making skills.
  • A track record of people development.
  • Reliable transportation and good communication skills.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test.
  • Safety-focused, punctual, team-oriented, respectful, and motivated.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Knowledge of area competitors and market trends.
  • Experience with training and developing team members.
