About the position

The General Manager at Taco Bell is responsible for overseeing the entire restaurant operation, ensuring a positive experience for both employees and guests. Responsibilities

  • Reinforce the Border Foods CORE values in daily operations.
  • Oversee the operation of the entire restaurant and ensure a quality customer experience.
  • Build and maintain a strong team that provides great food and friendly service.
  • Monitor team performance and hold team members accountable for standards and expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and local laws.
  • Create unity within the team and resolve employee issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop short-term and long-term strategies for restaurant success.
  • Utilize and interpret P&L statements to drive profitability and make financial adjustments.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and develop training plans for new employees.
  • Minimize loss through adherence to cash handling policies and efficient labor control.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of restaurant or retail experience, or a combination of experience and education.
  • Experience with sales building, P&L statements, recruiting, and training.
  • Proven track record of successful hiring and retention.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
  • ServeSafe Certified.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Experience in a managerial role within the restaurant industry.
  • Bilingual skills to communicate with a diverse team and customer base.
