About the position

As a General Manager at MOD Pizza, you will lead your store with a focus on creating a positive experience for both customers and team members. This role requires strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a commitment to the MOD culture. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving business results, and fostering a supportive and engaging environment for your Squad. Your leadership will be key in maintaining profitability while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and team engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the store and drive business results.
  • Provide leadership to the Squad, focusing on the Store Coach and Shift Captains.
  • Identify opportunities to improve store performance and develop action plans.
  • Engage the Squad in problem-solving to achieve store goals.
  • Maintain staffing levels through proactive recruitment and selection processes.
  • Build and sustain community relationships.
  • Utilize forecasts and labor models to manage staffing and schedules.
  • Execute training programs for new and existing Squad members.
  • Ensure cleanliness and food safety within the store.
  • Hold Squad accountable for performance and promote ongoing development.
  • Manage store inventory levels and ensure proper ordering and processing of supplies.
  • Maintain accurate cash management and communicate effectively with the Squad.

Requirements

  • 2 years of General Manager experience in a restaurant.
  • Proven success in training, developing, and leading teams.
  • Experience in ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory in a food service environment.
  • Must obtain food safety certification and/or alcohol beverage certification within 30 days of start date.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.

Nice-to-haves

  • College Education in Business or Related Field may substitute a portion of required experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
