About the position

The Taco Bell Restaurant General Manager is responsible for leading the restaurant team, establishing a positive work environment, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role involves overseeing all restaurant operations, including hiring and developing staff, managing budgets, and addressing customer issues. The General Manager plays a crucial role in building a strong team that consistently delivers great food and a friendly experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the restaurant team to ensure a positive work environment and excellent customer service.
  • Hire, train, and develop employees, including conducting new hire orientation and creating training plans.
  • Schedule and deploy team members effectively to meet operational needs.
  • Address performance issues and assist in resolving customer complaints.
  • Manage the restaurant's budget and financial plans.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; College or University Degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of supervisory experience in a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility.
  • Basic personal computer literacy.
  • Strong preference for internal promotion from Assistant General Manager position.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must pass background check criteria and drug test.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Basic business math and accounting skills, along with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
